Hydroponics Competition Design-Stacked Aeroponics Design
For this project, my role focused on transforming our team’s conceptual ideas into a functional digital design using Autodesk Inventor. I was responsible for sketching and modeling the system components, converting initial hand-drawn concepts into accurate 3D representations that could be visualized, refined, and tested by the team. This included creating dimensional layouts, organizing component placement, and ensuring the design was structurally realistic and manufacturable.
Through this process, I strengthened my skills in CAD modeling, technical sketching, and collaborative engineering design. I also gained experience troubleshooting alignment, spacing, and scaling issues while adapting the model to fit the system’s functional requirements. My contributions helped bridge the gap between brainstorming and implementation by allowing the team to visualize the project as a complete engineered system before physical construction.
